Originally from New Orleans, Matthew Boudousquie has felt connected to the Pacific Northwest since 1992, when his father moved to Bellingham. After spending summers here throughout his childhood, he later returned to Whatcom County to be closer to family and build his life in the community he now serves.
Today, Matthew is a real estate broker based in Bellingham, Washington, helping buyers and sellers navigate residential, land, and lifestyle property transactions across Whatcom County, Skagit County, and the San Juan Islands — while also assisting clients throughout Washington State.
From Chef to Real Estate
Before entering real estate, Matthew spent nearly three decades in hospitality, including an award-winning culinary career. He was recognized as Gold Best Chef by Bellingham Alive in 2023 and Bronze in 2024 and 2025.
That experience built a foundation of precision, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate needs — qualities that now define his approach to real estate and client service.

Rooted in the Pacific Northwest
Matthew is actively involved in the Bellingham community, including volunteering with the Bellingham Senior Center Meals on Wheels program.
Outside of real estate, he enjoys woodworking, golf, tennis, basketball, hiking, and exploring the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest — from the mountains of Whatcom County to the shoreline and islands of the Salish Sea.
