Originally from New Orleans, Matthew Boudousquie has felt connected to the Pacific Northwest since 1992, when his father moved to Bellingham. After spending summers here throughout his childhood, he relocated in his twenties and later returned to be closer to family. Now entering his second year as a real estate broker with the Muljat Group in Bellingham, Matthew is committed to helping clients navigate their next chapter with clarity, care, and confidence.

Before entering real estate, Matthew spent nearly three decades in hospitality, including an award-winning culinary career. He was named Gold Best Chef by Bellingham Alive in 2023 and Bronze in 2024 and 2025. His years in the kitchen refined his precision, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate needs—skills he now brings to a relationship- and referral-driven approach to real estate. He teaches cooking classes at the Community Food Co-op and contributes monthly recipes to Bellingham Alive, keeping his creative edge while channeling his energy toward serving his clients.

Community engagement is important to Matthew. He volunteers with the Bellingham Senior Center Meals on Wheels delivery program to help ensure neighbors have access to fresh food. Outside of work, he enjoys woodworking, golf, tennis, basketball, hiking, and exploring the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Whether crafting a piece of furniture or spending time outdoors, he draws inspiration from craftsmanship, movement, and nature—and brings that same care and curiosity to the clients he serves.
